Yoga therapy

One-on-one sessions // I offer one-on-one therapeutic yoga sessions to support women on their inner and healing journey. The heart of this holistic healing system is a daily home practice that is personally crafted for you, alongside the consistent care of a mentor.

Your home practice will be based on your needs, goals, current health concerns, personal life circumstances, etc… We’ll work with some (or all) of these tools: breath-led movements/postures, breathing exercises, sound, chant, meditation and relaxation.  I will adapt these tools so that they are most potent for you.  I may also offer some lifestyle recommendations and self-care rituals to complement your daily practice.

Yoga therapy can support and bring healing to a wide array of conditions such as : chronic pain, anxiety, depression, fertility, pregnancy, postpartum and perimenopause issues, digestion and elimination troubles, migraines, insomnia, grief, autoimmune and inflammatory diseases, life challenges or transitions, etc.. This approach helps to ease symptoms as well as work on the root causes to bring balance back to the system.

To get started I ask new clients to commit to 3 sessions. Our first session will be an in-depth intake where we will discuss your current concerns, health history, lifestyle, etc. Then I will do some observation of your mobility & breathing and we’ll start exploring some techniques. At the end of our session I’ll give you a first short practice to do at home (you’ll get a drawn version of it). Ideally we’ll meet a week later for our second session. We’ll get to discuss any questions or insights that may have come up for you. I will guide you through your practice so that we can deepen and adjust what’s needed. About one month later, we’ll meet for our third session.  We’ll assess how the practice is supporting you and we’ll continue to develop and fine-tune it. Following that, we can meet based on your needs.  Many clients like to have regular monthly sessions or meet every couple months. The idea is that as you move through life your practice moves and evolves with you.

I offer both online and in-person sessions (on Salt Spring Island).

How much? While finishing my practicum hours I am offering these discounted rates for the 3 initial sessions (the first one will be 2 hours long and the following ones 1 hour , so 4 hours total) : sliding scale 210-300$ (cad) // follow up 1 hour sessions: sliding scale 80-110$(cad) *Sessions can be in English or French
